Job Description & Requirements

• Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for milling, turning, drilling, and other machining operations.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and GD&T requirements.

• Develop CNC programs using G-code and CAM software.

• Select appropriate cutting tools, work-holding methods, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies.

• Set up and prove out CNC programs, including tool offsets and work coordinates.

• Conduct program simulations and identify potential machining or collision issues before production.

• Troubleshoot CNC programming and machining problems and implement corrective actions.

• Optimize machining cycles to improve productivity, tool life, quality, and material utilization.

• Work closely with machinists, engineers, quality personnel, and production teams.

• Ensure finished components meet dimensional and quality requirements.

• Maintain and update CNC programs, tooling records, setup sheets, and related documentation.

• Follow company procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.

• Support continuous improvement activities and reduce machining time, scrap, and production costs.
  

  Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CNC Programmer, CNC Machinist, or similar manufacturing role.

  • Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes and G-code/M-code programming.

  • Experience with CNC milling and/or turning machines.

  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, SolidCAM, Fusion 360, or equivalent.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.

  • Knowledge of cutting tools, machining parameters, work-holding, and tooling selection.

  • Good understanding of precision measurement and inspection equipment.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.

  • Willingness to work shifts and to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines,with flexbility to work extended hours when required.
