Marcom Assistant (Ehsan Seaview Hotel)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a creative and proactive Marketing & Communications Assistant to support Ehsan Seaview Hotel’s marketing, social media, promotional campaigns, content creation, and events. The role will help strengthen the hotel’s brand presence and promote its rooms, facilities, dining, and special offers.

Key Responsibilities :

-Assist in planning and executing marketing and promotional activities for the hotel.

-Create engaging content for social media platforms, website, promotional materials, and other communication channels.

-Assist with managing and updating the hotel's social media accounts.

-Prepare content such as captions, posters, promotional materials, videos, and other marketing collaterals.

-Support the promotion of hotel rooms, facilities, dining outlets, packages, events, and seasonal promotions.

-Assist in organising and promoting hotel events, campaigns, and activities.

-Coordinate with hotel departments to gather information and develop marketing content.

-Assist with photography and videography for hotel activities, events, facilities, and promotional campaigns.

-Liaise with external vendors, media, influencers, partners, and other relevant parties when required.

-Monitor social media engagement and assist in preparing marketing performance reports.

-Conduct basic market and competitor research within the hospitality and tourism industry.

-Ensure marketing materials and communications are consistent with the hotel's branding.

-Perform other marketing and communications duties as assigned by the management.

Requirements :

-Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Communications, Public Relations, Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.

-Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

-Previous experience in hotel marketing, hospitality, social media, or communications will be an advantage.

-Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

-Creative, outgoing, proactive, and confident in communicating with others.

-Good knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other digital channels.

-Basic skills in Canva, photography, videography, or video editing are an advantage.

-Good organisational and time-management skills.

-Able to work independently and as part of a team.

-Willing to assist with hotel events and activities, including occasional weekends or public holidays when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM1,800.00 per month
