Job Title: GitHub Copilot Engineer / Expert
Location: Singapore
Experience Level: 5+ Years

Job Summary:
We are looking for experienced GitHub Copilot Engineers to act as subject matter experts and internal champions for GitHub Copilot adoption across our development teams. In this role, you will guide and mentor engineers in best practices, promote the effective use of Copilot in real-world development environments, and ensure teams are achieving measurable productivity and code quality outcomes. You will play a critical role in accelerating AI-powered software delivery and embedding GitHub Copilot into our engineering culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the go-to expert and internal consultant on GitHub Copilot across engineering teams.
• Train and guide development teams in adopting and maximizing GitHub Copilot’s capabilities.
• Develop and deliver best practice playbooks, training materials, and demos.
• Monitor usage, collect feedback, and provide actionable insights to improve effectiveness.
• Work closely with team leads and developers to tailor Copilot usage to various tech stacks.
• Define KPIs and measure the impact of Copilot on productivity, code quality, and developer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure responsible and safe AI code usage.
• Stay up to date on GitHub Copilot advancements and AI-assisted development trends.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in software development (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, C#, etc.).
• Strong understanding of GitHub Copilot, its APIs, features, and limitations.
• Experience with GitHub platform, CI/CD workflows, and DevOps practices.
• Ability to train, coach, and influence developers of varying skill levels.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience integrating AI tools into software development lifecycles is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in developer enablement, dev productivity, or tooling roles.
• Previous involvement in Copilot rollout or similar AI coding assistants.
• Familiarity with enterprise GitHub setups and GitHub Advanced Security.
• Strong analytical mindset to interpret usage data and performance metrics.
