Job Description:

We are looking for a Functional QA Tester with 4+ years of experience, preferably in the banking domain. The role involves testing applications, validating business requirements, and ensuring smooth system functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand business requirements and prepare test cases and test scenarios
• Perform functional and system testing on applications
• Execute test cases and report defects in a timely manner
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and QA team members
• Support UAT testing and help ensure successful releases
• Validate data using basic SQL queries (where required)
• Maintain test documentation and reports

Required Skills:

• Experience in manual/functional testing
• Basic understanding of banking applications (payments, accounts, etc.)
• Familiarity with SDLC/STLC
• Knowledge of defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
• Basic SQL knowledge is a plus
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Good to Have:

• Exposure to API testing (e.g., Postman)
• Understanding of Agile methodology

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field
