Product Technician

Location: Tampoi, Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: RM2,200 – RM2,500/month, negotiable based on experience

Role Overview

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Product Technician to join the Product Engineering team. This role will support new project start-ups, engineering changes, manufacturing process and material studies, and engineering issue investigations.

Candidates with PCBA debugging experience are highly preferred. Fresh candidates with an Electronics background may also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Support new project start-up and engineering change implementation.
• Assist with manufacturing process and material studies and DOE.
• Investigate engineering issues and support problem-solving activities.
• Provide technical support for alternative part sourcing.
• Prepare and maintain manufacturing documentation, including BOM, work instructions, FMEA, process flowcharts, specifications, and drawings.
• Support manufacturing requirements such as cycle time, UPH, line setup, manpower, testing, tools, jigs, fixtures, equipment, packaging, and yield.
• Support process and tool validation activities.
• Ensure compliance with company information security, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• PCBA debugging experience is highly preferred.
• Fresh graduates with an Electronics background are welcome to apply.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work effectively with engineering and production teams.
• Willing to work in Tampoi, Johor Bahru.
