岗位职责

Wentel Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is actively seeking individuals with your skillset to join our team asa Welder.

Job Responsibilities

Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts.
Weld small and large components such as panels, hollow, and frames.
Use specialized machinery for industrial welding and oversee machines that perform the same job.
Assess welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify errors.
Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.
Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature.
Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
Take and read measurements.
Always follow specifications and instructions for maximum efficiency.
Set up components for welding.
Align components using calipers, rulers, etc., and clamp the pieces.
Report damages on machines and equipment.
Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws.
Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.

Qualifications & Experience

Institute of Technical College or Polytechnic in welding.
Able to perform TIG / MIG welding.
2 years’ experience in welding sheet metal in a metal production manufacturing environment.
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Ability to recognize weld symbols.
Knowledge of manual and mechanical welding techniques.
Knowledge of Safety & quality awareness.
Self-driven and self-motivated, pleasant personality, and a team player.
