Duration: between 4 - 6 Months | On-site

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on and curious IT Support Intern who wants to gain real-world experience in IT support and troubleshooting. You will work on actual Level 1 support cases in a client environment, with guidance from experienced engineers as you develop your technical skills and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 IT support to end users.
• Install, set up, configure and upgrade desktops, laptops, software and related IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot common hardware, software, application, printer and connectivity issues.
• Perform initial diagnosis and basic system/network connectivity checks.
• Assist with data migration and setup/relocation of IT equipment.
• Record and follow up on incidents and service requests through to resolution.
• Maintain basic IT asset and equipment records.
• Escalate more complex issues to the L2 Engineer with findings from the initial troubleshooting. 

What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, Windows and software troubleshooting.
• Basic networking knowledge is an advantage.
• Curious and enjoys troubleshooting and solving problems.
• Willing to research, learn and attempt solutions before escalating.
• Responsible, communicative and willing to take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Able to commit to at least 4 to 6-month internship.
