Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Videographer and Editor role based in WP, Kuala Lumpur. The videographer and editor will plan, shoot, and edit video content for events, promotional materials, and social media, ensuring all footage meets brand and client expectations. Daily tasks include coordinating with event planners, preparing and maintaining video equipment, capturing key moments at events, and organizing raw footage for efficient post-production. The role also involves editing videos with appropriate transitions, effects, audio, and color correction, as well as delivering final files in required formats and timelines. The successful candidate will collaborate with the broader team to develop creative concepts and maintain consistent visual standards across all projects.

Qualifications

• Strong videography skills, including camera operation, framing, lighting, and audio capture.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools).
• Basic motion graphics or visual effects skills using tools such as Adobe After Effects are an advantage.
• Ability to manage file organization, backups, and workflow for multiple simultaneous projects.
• Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and visual storytelling capability.
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced event environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills when working with event planners, clients, and team members.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and flexible hours in line with event schedules.
• Previous experience in event videography or related production roles is preferred.
• Diploma or degree in film, multimedia, communications, or a related field is beneficial, or equivalent practical experience.
