Project-Based Learning (PBL) Facilitators / Educators
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (2-Year Contract or 3–6 Month Engagements)
About the Role
Dalton School Hong Kong is seeking dynamic, experienced, and passionate Project-Based Learning (PBL) Facilitators to lead and inspire students through transformative, inquiry-based learning experiences.
We are offering flexible arrangements, including two-year full-time contracts , part-time roles , and short-term engagements (3 to 6 months) . The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge in Project-Based Learning Model , bring a proactive and adaptable approach to building programs from the ground up, and demonstrate a commitment to empowering learners in an inclusive, bilingual environment.
Key Responsibilities
PBL Curriculum & Program Development: Proactively build, implement, and refine interdisciplinary Project-Based Learning curricula and programs from the ground up.
Instruction & Inquiry-Based Pedagogy: Deliver student-centered, inquiry-based instruction across middle and/or high school levels.
Differentiated Learning: Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse skill levels, supporting both technical mastery and creative expression.
Classroom & Collaborative Management: Maintain an organized, inclusive environment that encourages student independence, critical thinking, and teamwork.
Assessment & Continuous Feedback: Utilize varied formative and summative assessment strategies to evaluate growth and provide meaningful feedback.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred) .
Professional Status: EDB Registered Teacher status (for Hong Kong placement).
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience with demonstrated expertise delivering Project-Based Learning at the middle or high school level.
Proven track record of designing curriculum and establishing new educational programs.
Language Skills: Full English proficiency required; bilingual capabilities (English/Mandarin) are highly valued.
Mindset: Proactive, adaptable, collaborative, and dedicated to supporting emergent language learners.
Working Conditions & Benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (short-term options available) .
