About the Role
We are looking for an experienced AWS SysOps Administrator to manage and support AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, performance, backup, and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
- Monitor AWS resources using Amazon CloudWatch.
- Manage AWS backups and disaster recovery.
- Provision and automate infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation.
- Manage VPCs, gateways, proxies, Bastion Hosts, and network connectivity.
- Work with network teams to establish on-premises and AWS network connections.
- Monitor AWS billing and implement cloud cost optimization strategies.
- Manage AWS infrastructure lifecycle, provisioning, automation, and security.
- Perform software upgrades, kernel patching, and security/errata patches.
- Monitor infrastructure availability and performance.
- Manage and monitor Amazon EKS clusters.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Write scripts to automate routine AWS administration tasks.
- Support on-premises infrastructure and application migration to AWS.
- Troubleshoot AWS infrastructure and networking issues and provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Maintain data integrity, access controls, and cloud security standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, system administration, cloud operations, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services.
- Experience with Amazon EKS.
- Experience in AWS infrastructure monitoring, administration, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of AWS networking, VPC, gateways, and connectivity.
- Experience with cloud automation and CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, security, and cost optimization.
- Experience with CI/CD and scripting/automation is preferred.
- Experience migrating on-premises infrastructure/applications to AWS is an advantage.
- Good communication and troubleshooting skills.
