Project Manager – Construction

Location: Johor Bahru, Malaysia
Project: Construction of a School
Employment Type: Contract – Until Project Completion
Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Availability: Immediate Joiners Preferred

Job Description

We are urgently seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage and oversee a school construction project in Johor Bahru.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all aspects of the construction project to ensure it is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall construction project from commencement to completion.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities, schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure construction work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or issues.
• Develop and implement solutions to ensure project timelines are maintained.
• Conduct regular site meetings and provide project progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and project requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, and contractors when required.
• Manage project costs and assist in controlling project expenditure.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction projects.
• Experience managing building construction projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction management, project planning, scheduling, and site operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and site teams effectively.
• Ability to work in Johor Bahru on a contract basis until project completion.
• Candidates who are available to join immediately will be given preference.

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
