About the Role

The Project Engineer will be responsible for managing actuated valve projects, manual valve projects, and spare parts from project kick-off until completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to customer requirements. This role involves coordinating with clients, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution, timely delivery, and successful project close-out.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage procurement activities, project plans, schedules, budgets, and timelines

• Coordinate and monitor project activities from project kick-off until completion

• Track project progress and identify potential delays, risks, and required recovery actions

• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, SCM, Production, QHSE, Engineering, Finance, and other relevant teams

• Follow up on material status, supplier deliverables, and project requirements

• Ensure project activities are executed according to customer requirements and company procedures

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, schedules, reports, and correspondence

• Prepare and submit project progress reports and technical documentation

• Coordinate inspections, testing activities, and supplier expediting when required

• Monitor shipment arrangements and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment

About You

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Project Engineering or Project Delivery, preferably within the Oil & Gas, flow control, valve, or industrial industry

• Experience in manual and actuated valve systems will be an added advantage

• Strong project coordination and supplier management skills, with experience in procurement, scheduling, expediting, shipment coordination, and project documentation

• Good understanding of project planning, budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and risk management

• Familiar with project management tools/software and technical documentation processes

• Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills

• Able to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Self-motivated, organized, analytical, and able to work independently as well as within a team

• Able to work effectively within tight deadlines and a fast-paced project environment
