  • Support regional and corporate reporting requirements.

Business Partnering & Commercial Finance

  • Act as a trusted finance partner to the General Manager and cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, Retail Operations, Supply Chain, and IT.

Treasury & Working Capital Management

  • Lead cash flow forecasting and liquidity management across the region.
  • Oversee banking relationships, payment processes, collections, and treasury activities.
  • Monitor working capital performance, including inventory, receivables, and payables management.
  • Partner with Corporate Finance on funding, banking, and treasury requirements.

Governance, Compliance & Risk Management

  • Maintain strong internal controls, governance practices, and risk management frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, statutory requirements, and corporate policies across Malaysia and Singapore.
  • Manage external audits, tax filings, transfer pricing matters, and statutory submissions.
  • Identify business and financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Finance Transformation & Process Improvement

  • Lead ERP implementation, finance transformation, and digitalization initiatives.
  • Drive process improvement projects to enhance controls, reporting capabilities, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop scalable finance processes and support shared-services operating models where applicable.
  • Partner with business and technology teams to improve data quality, systems integration, and reporting automation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • 8-12+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership responsibilities.
  • Proven finance management experience within Retail, Consumer Goods, Fashion, Beauty, Luxury, FMCG, or a similar consumer-facing industry.
  • Experience managing finance activities across both Malaysia and Singapore portfolios is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, management reporting, treasury, tax, and statutory compliance.
  • Experience leading audits, transfer pricing, and regulatory reporting.
  • Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder management and business partnering abilities.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.

Preferred Profile

  • Regional or Southeast Asia finance experience.
  • Exposure to retail store operations, inventory management, and commercial finance.
  • Experience supporting business expansion, transformation, or process improvement initiatives.
