Summary:
The Technical Officer supports the planning, setup, operation, and maintenance of simulation training equipment, systems, and facilities within SIMTAC. The role involves providing technical support for simulation-based training programmes, managing simulation technologies, troubleshooting system issues, maintaining records and documentation, and working closely with stakeholders to ensure smooth and effective training operations.
Job Responsibilities:
Support the setup and operation of simulation equipment and training environments for healthcare education programmes.
Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain simulation systems, medical devices, and related software.
Provide technical support during training sessions, including simulation and debriefing activities.
Collaborate with IT and Audio-Visual teams to optimize simulation and training systems.
Maintain training records, equipment inventory, and operational documentation.
Support process improvements, data management, and departmental projects.
Job Requirements
Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience with healthcare simulation or AV systems is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Self-motivated team player with the ability to multitask and work independently.
