岗位职责

Job Description

Lead and manage all yard welding engineering activities for EPC projects.
Establish and manage the ISO 3834 Welding management system.
Develop, review, and approve Welding Procedures (WPS), PQRs, and WPQs.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes,standards (ASME, AWS, ISO, API, DNV, ABS) and and Client Specifications.
Interface with Class, Client, and Third-Party Inspection Agencies.
Review vendor welding documentation and fabrication procedures.
Provide technical support to yard / production team.
Tender technical review for compliance with yard practices.
Resolve welding-related NCRs, concessions, and technical queries.
Support material selection, PWHT, NDT coordination, and weld repair strategies.
Oversee Yard welder training, qualification and performance monitoring program. and welding consumable control.
Monitor welding related equipment and inspection instrument calibration and controls.
Participate in welding related surveillance and audits.
Establish welding sequence for critical structure to minimize / control distortion.
Monitor welding & NDT related performance targets
Mentor Welding Engineers, QAQC inspectors related to welding, PWHT activities.

Job Requirements

Degree in Welding/Metallurgy/Materials/Mechanical engineering with IWE Diploma
Experience: 10+ Years in Str & Piping fabrication yard.
Experience in Carbon steel, low alloy steel, stainless steel, duplex & super duplex, Inconel, Copper Nickel & Overlayed materials
Heavy structural fabrication with non tubular and tubular welds.
In-depth knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, SAW, FCAW).
Knowledge in NDT.
