Company Description

This assignment is for a recurring digital content format that combines editorial visuals, motion graphics, typography, diagrams and limited animation.

Role Description

Looking for a remote Motion Graphics & Visual Designer to help create the visual system for a 9–11 minute production divided into approximately 25–30 visual sections.

You will work from a detailed storyboard and locked audio to create a mix of layered illustrations, vector graphics, diagrams, typography, visual metaphors, simple parallax, and restrained animation. The goal is not to animate every line, but to support the rhythm of the conversation with clear, well-timed visuals.

The project also requires a small set of reusable After Effects templates/systems that can be adapted for future productions. Final files should be clean, editable, and well organized.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Adobe After Effects
• Good working knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong sense of composition, typography, pacing, and visual storytelling
• Comfortable creating vector graphics, diagrams, editorial-style visuals, and limited animation
• Able to work with layered stills, masks, parallax, shape animation, and kinetic typography
• Experience building reusable After Effects templates or MOGRTs is a plus
• Able to translate abstract ideas into simple visual metaphors
• Comfortable working from a detailed storyboard and syncing visuals to dialogue
• Good file organization and ability to provide editable source files
• Experience with AI-assisted image tools is a plus, but strong design judgement is more important
• Portfolio showing both static visual design and motion work

The first assignment will establish the visual style and reusable system for future episodes.
