Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Manager Business Development role based in Greater Kuala Lumpur. The Assistant Manager Business Development will support the growth of the company’s bakery and pastry product portfolio by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and expanding market presence. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market research, preparing sales presentations and proposals, coordinating with production and logistics teams, and tracking performance metrics against business targets. • Business development and sales skills, including lead generation, client relationship management, and negotiation.
• Market research and analysis capabilities to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for engaging with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Organizational and project coordination skills to manage multiple accounts, proposals, and timelines.
• Experience in the food manufacturing, FMCG, or related industry is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM tools, with comfort preparing reports and forecasts.
• Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Greater Kuala Lumpur and occasionally travel for client visits or events.
