Job Brief As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for the timely, compliant, and accurate execution of monthly payroll lifecycles across diverse client accounts. Your primary focus will be coordinating complex workforce datasets, processing employee timesheets, and keeping account databases up to date. You will serve as a foundational support layer bridging the operational needs of corporate clients with Singapore statutory compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Payroll Processing: Calculate, review, and process regular monthly employee wages, including overtime data, multi-tiered commission schemes, and expense claims.
- Statutory Compliance Tracking: Process and manage mandatory monthly Central Provident Fund (CPF) contributions, Skills Development Levy (SDL), and year-end statutory tax filing procedures (IR8A forms).
- Data Records Management: Input and update permanent employee databases, managing new hires, leavers, salary progression changes, and corporate leave trackers.
- Invoice & Reconciliation Support: Match and cross-reference monthly processing matrices against generated client invoices to eliminate systemic ledger discrepancies.
- Inquiry Resolution: Provide friendly, accurate, and rapid responses to internal client and employee inquiries regarding payslips, deductions, and disbursement schedules.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Diploma, Higher NiTEC, or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accountancy, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of hands-on experience handling multi-client payroll distributions or managing high-volume employee hours. Prior background working within an EOR, outsourcing agency, or HR shared services firm is highly advantageous.
- Technical Skills: Strong working proficiency with advanced data features in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and familiarity with modern HRIS or centralized payroll packages.
- Competencies: Sharp attention to detail, strict adherence to workplace confidentiality standards, and a highly organized approach to managing cyclical deadlines.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Sound foundational understanding of the Singapore Employment Act guidelines and Ministry of Manpower (MOM) criteria. [1, 2, 3]
