Company Description
The ValueExchange gives capital markets participants impartial, data-driven insight into their post-trade operations. Rather than opining from the outside, we gather evidence directly from the industry — running surveys, research campaigns and webinars with CSDs, custodians, exchanges, CCPs, banks, brokers and fund managers around the world — and turn what they tell us into benchmarks and recommendations they can act on.
That means our work is only as good as the programmes we run with our clients: getting the right questions to the right participants, on time, and keeping senior sponsors informed and confident throughout.
Role Description
We are looking for a Client Services Manager, on contract, to own that delivery. You will help us run client programmes end to end — research campaigns, surveys, webinars and workshops — coordinating internal researchers, client sponsors and market participants across time zones to a fixed launch date.
This is a delivery and ownership role, not a support desk.
What you will do
- Own the delivery of client research campaigns, surveys and webinars from kickoff to publication.
- Build and hold the plan: scope, timeline, owners, risks — and keep it honest when reality moves.
- Run client communication: status updates, difficult messages about delays or descoping, and the conversations that keep a sponsor on side.
- Coordinate multiple stakeholders across Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Americas, usually on more than one programme at a time.
- Work with our research team to translate operational and market-structure topics into something a non-technical sponsor understands.
Required
- 5+ years of professional experience in client delivery, project or programme management, PMO, or operations.
- Professional experience in capital markets, financial market infrastructure, post-trade or custody/settlement — either directly, or in consulting, PMO or operations serving financial-market clients. Academic study or internships alone will not be sufficient for this role.
- Fluent English: able to run client calls and write client updates independently, without review.
- Reliable working overlap with Asia-Pacific (preferred) or Europe/UK.
- The judgement to work independently in a fully remote, internationally distributed team, and to escalate when it matters.
Useful
- Experience delivering surveys, research campaigns, webinars or client workshops.
- Working knowledge of T+1, settlement, custody, asset servicing or the roles of FMIs.
- Familiarity with project trackers (ClickUp, Jira, Asana or similar).
- Comfort using AI tools in day-to-day work.
Working arrangement
Fully remote, on a contract basis. Around 20 hours per week up to full-time, depending on fit and the programmes you take on — tell us in the application what you could reliably commit to.
How to apply
- Applications close 25 September. The application takes about 20 minutes and includes a short, timed reasoning exercise — set aside an uninterrupted slot rather than starting it on your phone between meetings.
- You will be asked to upload a current CV.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview.
