Roles & Responsibilities

· Independently or as part of a team, carry out inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair and overhaul of 2-stroke and 4-stroke marine diesel engines onboard vessels, at shipyard, anchorages and workshop.

· Perform routine and major overhauls, including pistons, cylinder covers, cylinder liners, bearings, connecting rods, fuel pumps and other engine components.

· Undertake engine docking, breakdown repair, voyage repair, riding crew and on-site / in-situ repair projects.

· Troubleshoot and repair engine mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including HPS, FIVA and related engine control components.

· Participate in crankshaft, camshaft and large engine component repair or renewal projects.

· Carry out inspections, measurements and condition assessments; identify faults and recommend solution.

· Work independently or collaborate with customers, vessel crew, shipyards and internal teams to ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently and on schedule.

· Prepare service reports and provide clear technical feedback.

· Be prepared for local and overseas assignments, emergency attendance and flexible working hours according to project schedules.

Job Requirements:

· Diploma / Degree in Marine & Offshore Engineering, mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

· At least 2 years of relevant experience in marine engine maintenance and repair (fresh graduates are welcome, training will be provided).

· Good hands-on skills in troubleshooting, maintenance, and overhaul.

· Willing to travel locally and overseas.

· Able to work overtime and be on standby when required.

Pay: $2,112.38 - $7,897.09 per month
