Job Summary

Prepare and oversee electrical designs, installations, and testing to ensure compliance with standards. Collaborate with project teams and manage documentation to support successful project execution.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical documentation to support project requirements
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, suppliers, and engineering teams to align electrical work with project goals
• Conduct electrical calculations, testing, inspection, and troubleshooting to ensure system functionality and safety
• Supervise and monitor electrical installation works to verify compliance with approved drawings and specifications
• Ensure all electrical works comply with relevant safety standards, codes, and regulations to maintain workplace safety
• Investigate electrical faults and recommend effective corrective and preventive measures to minimize downtime
• Support project planning, costing, procurement, and commissioning activities to facilitate timely project delivery
• Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate project documentation for record-keeping and audit purposes

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or relevant electrical design software
• Knowledge of relevant Singapore electrical standards and regulations
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Willingness to travel to project sites
