Full Stack Developer (Java)

We are seeking a highly motivated Full Stack Java Developer / Application Engineer to support, maintain, and enhance mission-critical enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in Java enterprise application development, production support, system integration, troubleshooting, and software delivery within a structured enterprise environment.

This role requires a hands-on engineer who can understand business requirements, analyze complex systems, develop and maintain software solutions, troubleshoot production issues, and collaborate closely with business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

·      Understand business requirements and perform detailed analysis to propose and implement appropriate technical solutions.

·      Design, develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise web applications and backend services.

·      Support existing applications, investigate incidents, troubleshoot production issues, and implement corrective actions.

·      Develop and maintain RESTfulAPIs, database integrations, and system-to-system interfaces.

·      Perform code reviews, design reviews, impact assessments, and technical documentation.

·      Analyze and optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

·      Collaborate with business users, QA teams, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

·      Participate in root cause analysis, problem management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

·      Create and execute unit tests, integration tests, and support user acceptance testing activities.

·      Review deliverables according to release management and change management processes.

·      Support deployment activities, production releases, and post-release monitoring.

·      Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies for planning, estimation, task tracking, and status reporting.

·      Design and develop reusable frameworks, components, utilities, and coding standards.

·      Create and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles.

·      Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve productivity, code quality, testing, and documentation.

·      Create and maintain GitHub Copilot custom instructions, coding guidelines, and development standards to support team-wide AI-assisted development practices.

Requirements

Technical Skills

·      At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE enterprise application development and support.

·      Strong experience with Java 8and object-oriented programming principles.

·      Experience with JSF, PrimeFaces, JSP, Servlets, MVC architecture, and enterprise web application development.

·      Experience with SpringFramework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Struts, or equivalent Java frameworks.

·      Strong understanding of RESTfulAPIs, web services, and integration patterns.

·      Experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, including query optimization, stored procedures, and database troubleshooting.

·      Hands-on experience with frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, or TypeScript.

·      Experience maintaining and enhancing large legacy applications with limited documentation.

·      Strong problem-solving skills in troubleshooting application, database, integration, and performance-related issues.

·      Experience with application servers such as Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic, or equivalent platforms.

·      Familiarity with build and dependency management tools such as Maven and Ant.

·      In-depth understanding of Git-based source control management, branching strategies, merge requests, and code review practices.

·      Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC), release management, and change management processes.

·      Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and secure coding practices.

·      Experience implementing automated testing, unit testing, and integration testing.
