Information Security & Assurance

Vulnerability Management & Security Assessments

• Coordinate vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security testing activities. Track remediation progress and follow up with application teams on findings.
• Monitor security advisories and assist in identifying affected systems.
• Support remediation efforts for vulnerabilities, security gaps, and EOL/EOS technologies.

Security Operations & Assurance

• Review and process firewall requests, privileged access requests, and other security-related activities.
• Assist in monitoring security controls and tools such as EDR, SIEM, DLP, and PAM.
• Perform periodic security reviews, including firewall rule reviews and file integrity monitoring checks.
• Support investigation of security alerts, incidents, and policy deviations.

Compliance & Governance Support

• Support security compliance activities, audits, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with evidence collection, documentation, and tracking of remediation activities.
• Maintain security documentation, reports, and records as required.

Security Advisory & Stakeholder Support

• Provide security guidance and recommendations to technology teams.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to support security initiatives and projects.
• Support security awareness, cyber resilience exercises, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, IT Security, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of vulnerability management, security controls, and security operations.
• Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, DLP, PAM, or vulnerability scanners is an advantage.
• Good communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant certifications (Security+, CEH, etc.) are advantageous.

Pay: RM3,800.00 - RM8,000.00 per month

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Cybersecurity, Information Security, IT Security: 2 years (Required)
• security controls & security operations: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Security+ or CEH (Preferred)
