An AssistantElectrical Engineer supports senior engineers in designing, testing, andmaintaining electrical systems, equipment, and components. This entry- tomid-level role involves running simulations, drafting technical reports,inspecting infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with industry safety codes.
KeyResponsibilities
- Design & Analysis: Assist in creating electrical schematics, circuits, and blueprints using CAD or simulation software.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Run diagnostic tests, evaluate system performance, and resolve faults in electrical setups or prototypes.
- Maintenance & Operations: Monitor power distribution, HT/LT panels, transformers, and generators depending on facility needs.
- Documentation: Prepare project logs, technical reports, bills of quantities (BOQs), and inventory records.
- Collaboration: Work alongside project managers, mechanical teams, and external contractors to deliver installations on time.
Qualifications& Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 0 to 3+ years of practical experience in electrical design, power systems, or facility maintenance.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD, MATLAB, SPICE, or ETAP.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and verbal communication.
