Job Summary
The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing end-to-end logistics operations, ensuring efficient and timely movement of products from suppliers and warehouses to retail stores and e-commerce customers. The role focuses on delivery performance, inventory flow, 3PL management, cost control, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics, transportation, distribution, and store replenishment activities.
- Coordinate inventory transfers between warehouses, retail outlets, and other locations.
- Oversee e-commerce fulfilment, deliveries, returns, and omnichannel logistics operations.
- Manage relationships and performance of 3PL providers, freight forwarders, and courier partners.
- Monitor logistics KPIs, including delivery performance, fulfilment accuracy, lead times, and operating costs.
- Collaborate with Retail, Merchandising, E-commerce, Finance, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations and product availability.
- Identify and implement initiatives to improve efficiency, service levels, and cost effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and relevant regulations.
- Lead logistics projects, process enhancements, and system improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of logistics or supply chain experience, preferably within retail, FMCG, beauty, fashion, lifestyle, or consumer products.
- Experience managing 3PLs, transportation, warehousing, and inventory operations.
- Good understanding of retail replenishment and e-commerce fulfilment processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP or WMS systems.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and driven by continuous improvement and cost optimization.
