Role Description
As a IT Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for:

1. Mobile Automation Development

• Build and maintain automated test frameworks for Android & iOS.
• Develop automation scripts using Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, or similar tools.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure stable and reliable automation execution across physical devices, emulators, and simulators.
• Use mobile device debugging and command-line tools such as ADB (Android Debug Bridge), Fastboot, iOS device utilities, and related tools for device management, troubleshooting, log collection, app installation, and automation support.

2. Mobile Runtime Analysis & Debugging

• Use Frida and similar dynamic instrumentation tools for mobile application debugging, runtime inspection, API tracing, method hooking, and troubleshooting.
• Understand Android and iOS application runtime behavior, processes, permissions, application sandboxing, and system-level interactions.
• Analyze application logs using tools such as ADB Logcat, Android Debug Bridge, Xcode Console, idevice tools, or equivalent utilities.
• Troubleshoot issues involving rooted/jailbroken test devices, emulators, simulators, and physical mobile devices where required for controlled testing environments.

3. API Sniffing & Network Traffic Analysis

• Use Charles Proxy, mitmproxy, Fiddler, Burp Suite, or similar tools to capture and analyze API calls.
• Inspect request/response payloads, authentication flows, headers, error codes, and performance metrics.
• Debug network/API issues in environments with VPN or restricted network layers.
• Understand SSL/TLS certificates, certificate installation, proxy configuration, SSL pinning concepts, encryption, and tunneling.

4. Deep Apple Infrastructure & MDM Integration

• Work with iOS apps requiring VPN access enabled via Mobile Device Management (MDM).
• Configure, validate, and troubleshoot managed VPN profiles including per-app VPN, device-level VPN, and certificate-based access.
• Collaborate with MDM/IT teams using platforms such as Jamf, Microsoft Intune, MobileIron, Workspace ONE, Kandji, or similar solutions.
• Troubleshoot system-level components including Network Extensions, VPN tunnels, managed app configurations, certificates, provisioning profiles, and supervised device modes.
• Ensure automation compatibility in MDM-controlled and security-restricted environments.

Skills & Qualifications

• Candidates must possess at least Diploma / Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent.
• Required language(s): Mandarin, English
• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field.
• Strong experience in iOS and Android mobile automation.
• Hands-on experience with ADB, Android debugging tools, Xcode / iOS debugging tools, and mobile device command-line utilities.
• Experience or good working knowledge of Frida or similar dynamic instrumentation / debugging frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Apple MDM, VPN configuration, certificates, provisioning, and secure device setup.
• Proficiency in network debugging and API traffic sniffing.
• Strong technical understanding of REST APIs, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS certificates, authentication, encryption, proxies, and VPN tunneling.
• Excellent problem-solving, mathematical reasoning, logical thinking, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

It will be a plus if you have:

• Knowledge of C#, Python, Java, Kotlin, Swift, or JavaScript.
• Experience with Frida scripting, runtime instrumentation, or mobile application reverse engineering for legitimate debugging and testing purposes.
• Experience with tools such as Burp Suite, JADX, Apktool, objection, Fastboot, libimobiledevice, or similar mobile debugging utilities.
• Experience with API automation frameworks or device cloud platforms such as BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, Firebase Test Lab, or AWS Device Farm.
• Background in performance testing, application security testing, mobile security analysis, or DevOps / CI/CD automation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
