Job Summary

The Controller Country covers finance planning and operating for Malaysia and Indonesia entities. Works together with accounting manager to oversee all financial and fiscal activities and ensures compliance of the operations for Malaysia and Indonesia entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for oversight of finance and reporting for Malaysia and Indonesia entities.
• Responsible for finance book closing, tax filing and statutory reporting requirement for Malaysia and Indonesia entities.
• Act as a key business partner to Malaysia and Indonesia entities and functional leaders
• Supervise on legal and compliance, and monitor day-to-day finance operations
• Ensure that legal entity in compliance of US GAAP and statutory reporting
• Conduct planning, forecast, provide added value analysis
• Effective delivery of entity controllership role
  
  

Education, Work Experience, Skills, Certificates

• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Business and related field
• Minimum 8-year experience in Finance / Audit related functions with at least 3 years in management position
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing, SAP or ERP is preference
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are essential
• Strong influencing power and accountable
• Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting and related processes, tax compliance, treasury management
• Fluent (written and spoken) in English is required
• CPA, CIA, or relevant equivalent certification preferred
• Big 4 experience is a plus
