About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Solution Sales Manager to develop and deliver data center infrastructure solutions. You will work closely with customers and cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements, develop tailored solution proposals, and support customer engagements, bidding activities, and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of comprehensive data center power and cooling solutions, ensuring technical feasibility and commercial competitiveness.
- Own the solution planning and design of key infrastructure components, including Medium Voltage Rectifier (800VDC) systems, UPS, lithium-ion battery systems, CRAC units, precision air conditioning, and DCIM platforms.
- Review and validate technical deliverables, including Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), system architectures, technical specifications, and tender/bid documentation.
- Engage directly with customers to understand business and technical requirements, provide technical consultation, and deliver compelling solution proposals.
- Collaborate with presales, R&D, product, and delivery teams to ensure alignment between customer requirements and product capabilities.
- Drive market analysis and identify opportunities to develop standardised, scalable solution offerings for targeted industries and regional markets.
- Support technical marketing initiatives, including customer presentations, workshops, product demonstrations, and customer engagements.
- Support the sales team throughout the solution sales lifecycle, including technical presentations, proposal development, tender submissions, and customer discussions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in data center infrastructure, with a strong background in solution design, technical consulting, or technical presales.
- Solid expertise in critical power and cooling systems infrastructure, including UPS systems, battery technologies, and precision cooling solutions.
- Familiarity with data center standards and best practices, including Uptime Institute Tier Standards, TIA-942, and relevant IEC standards.
- Proven experience in customer engagement, solution proposal development, technical presentations, and supporting tender/bid submissions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
