• Perform surface treatment and chemical treatment processes according to work instructions, drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Operate and maintain treatment tanks and equipment used for processes such as degreasing, cleaning, pickling, passivation, phosphating, rinsing and other surface preparation processes.
• Prepare and control chemical solution concentration, mixing ratio, temperature, pH, treatment time and water level according to approved process parameters.
• Carry out proper masking, cleaning and preparation of parts before surface treatment.
• Perform treatment on stainless steel, cold rolled steel (CRS/SPCC), aluminium and other metal components as required.
• Conduct visual inspection after treatment to identify stains, discoloration, corrosion, water marks, scratches, uneven surfaces or other cosmetic defects.
• Ensure parts are properly cleaned, rinsed, and dried before proceeding to the next process, including powder coating or assembly.
• Record treatment parameters, chemical checks, lot/batch information, and production quantities for process traceability.
• Monitor chemical condition and inform the supervisor when chemical replenishment, replacement, or corrective action is required.
• Follow chemical handling, PPE, SDS and workplace safety requirements at all times.
• Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness of the treatment area, tanks and equipment.
• Work closely with Production and Quality teams to resolve treatment and cosmetic issues.
• Immediately report any non-conforming parts or abnormal process conditions to the supervisor.
• Support continuous improvement activities to improve quality, productivity and process consistency.
• Perform other production or surface-treatment-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Pay: RM2,400.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
