Job Summary

Lead NPI projects for cable and interconnect products, coordinating customers, engineering and manufacturing teams from development through mass production.

Key Responsibilities

Manage NPI projects from initial planning and prototype builds through product qualification, trial production and mass-production ramp-up.

Serve as the technical contact for customers, supporting technical discussions, sample approvals, project updates and audits.

Coordinate cross-functional activities across R&D, tooling, process engineering, quality, production and supply chain to keep projects on track.

Support process development and qualification for manufacturing processes including stamping, molding, assembly and testing.

Review product drawings, tolerances and manufacturability requirements, while coordinating engineering changes and process improvements.

Lead technical problem-solving and quality improvement using structured tools such as FMEA, 8D, 5 Why, SPC, DOE and MSA.

Drive project documentation, process standardisation and technical knowledge sharing across relevant teams.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Automation, Tooling, Materials Engineering or related discipline.

Minimum 3 years of experience in TPM, NPI, Project Engineering or Process Engineering within cable, connector or precision electronics manufacturing

Good understanding of

connector or cable assembly

manufacturing and ability to interpret 2D/3D engineering drawings; GD&T is an advantage.

Experience with FMEA, SPC, 8D, DOE, MSA and root-cause analysis.

Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive activities across multiple functions.

Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CAD software such as Creo or SolidWorks is an advantage.

Good English communication and technical documentation skills, with confidence in customer-facing discussions.
