About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer (M&E) to join our dynamic team at DLE M&E Pte Ltd. As a Project Engineer, you will play an exciting role in the successful delivery of our projects across the island.

What you'll be doing

• To assist the Project Director/Manager in Mechanical & Electrical planning and supervision works;
• To design electrical engineering systems;
• To assist the Project Manager to liaise with clients and consultants on projects;
• To co-ordinate sub-contract works;
• To assist in site administration matters;
• To assist in project engineering of mechanical and electrical systems;
• To assist in co-ordination and management of assigned projects / facilities;
• To assist in cost engineering for tender.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Project Engineer in the construction industry
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, organise, and coordinate multiple tasks and priorities
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of M&E principles, methods, and technologies
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance practices
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
