Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a Lead Software Developer / Software Developer / Software Engineer. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining back-end and full-stack applications, writing clean and efficient code, and implementing object-oriented programming principles. Daily tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, reviewing requirements, estimating development effort, and contributing to architectural and technical decisions. The developer will also debug and resolve software issues, perform code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and help improve development workflows and best practices. Depending on experience, the individual may mentor other developers, provide technical guidance, and support continuous improvement of the engineering process.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Hands-on experience in Software Development and Programming, with proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript).
• Practical expertise in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
• Solid understanding and application of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts in real-world projects.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time environment while meeting project timelines and quality standards.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with a collaborative and inclusive working style.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms, microservices, or modern DevOps practices is a plus.
