We are looking for a

Senior Quantity Surveyor

with

Sub-con experience

to support our client in the Power Generator sector. Our client is a global

Japan MNC

, and we are looking for potential candidates to support them initially for expansion plan.

They are located in Town – easily accessible via various modes of transport.

Job Description:
Handle full scope of QS duties including but not limited to material take-off and variations

To check and review all specifications and technical requirements from tender documents.

Identify potential contractual risks and provide mitigation strategies during the tender phase. Inform and assist team for cost estimate of additional works.

Lead the measurement take-off process and prepare comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BQ).

Call for quotations, evaluate subcontractor bids, and formulate competitive tender pricing.

Prepare for quotation & tender including quantity take-off for mechanical works.

Manage project budget and costing.

Maintain good rapport with subcontractors.

Evaluate and certify sub-contractors progress payment

Job Requirement:
Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

5 years of post-qualification experience in quantity surveying, with substantial experience on large construction projects

Proven expertise in cost management, contract administration and commercial negotiations
