Job Description
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
- Prescribe and recommend suitable eyewear, contact lenses, and vision correction solutions.
- Identify and refer patients with ocular abnormalities or medical conditions to the appropriate healthcare professionals when necessary.
- Provide professional advice on eye health, vision care, and preventive measures.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of patient records and clinical documentation.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment and technology to conduct clinical assessments.
- Work closely with the clinical and retail teams to deliver high-quality patient care and service standards.
- Stay updated with industry developments, products, and best practices in optometry
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in Optometry or equivalent qualification.
- Registered with the Malaysian Optical Council (MOC) with a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; prior clinical or retail optometry experience will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication skills.
- Patient-centric mindset with a goal to delivering quality eye care.
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to work weekends and public holidays based on roster requirements.
