Test & Debug Technician Job Description.

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to:

• Responsible for ICT, FCT, and FPT testing activities, ensuring all products meet quality requirements.
• Strong technical in ICT, FCT, and FPT test and test requirements.
• Demonstrates strong technical knowledge and competency in handling test equipment and processes.
• Performs preventive maintenance and calibration checks to ensure test equipment accuracy and reliability.
• Diagnoses hardware, fixture, and product-related issues using technical knowledge and systematic problem-solving techniques.
• Ensures accurate and timely execution of testing to support production schedules.
• Proactively troubleshoots and resolves test-related issues, minimizing production downtime.
• Maintains high standards of quality and compliance throughout the testing process.
• Takes ownership of testing operations and consistently delivers reliable results.
• Collaborates effectively with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues quickly.
• Shows dedication, reliability, and a positive attitude while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Makes a significant contribution to product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and overall operational success.
• Optimizes test processes to improve first-pass yield (FPY) and reduce false failures.

Performs tasks associated with, and not limited to, the following:

• Schedules and performs preventative maintenance. Maintains records for equipment availability, failure analysis and maintenance.
• Maintains equipment spare parts database.
• Tracks spare parts usage and maintains inventory of equipment spare parts.
• Helps move, install, set-up and refurbish equipment.
• May also perform special trade tasks such as tool and die maker, electrician etc.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
