Semiconductor Equipment Engineer/Assistant Engineer/Technician (Ref: 37777)
Location: East

Our client is a manufacturer and repairer of semiconductor foundry equipment. They are looking for a Semiconductor Equipment Engineer/Assistant Engineer/Technician to support semiconductor manufacturing equipment operations at a major semiconductor manufacturing facility in Singapore.

This role is suitable for candidates with experience or an interest in semiconductor equipment maintenance, engineering support, troubleshooting, calibration, and manufacturing processes.

【Responsibilities】

• Execute equipment and engineering tasks assigned by senior engineers.
• Work closely with engineers, technicians, and production staff to test, maintain, and improve equipment and engineering processes.
• Conduct regular inspections of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and coordinate preventive maintenance, servicing, and repairs.
• Perform equipment troubleshooting, calibration, and basic fault diagnosis when required.
• Support engineering teams with equipment-related projects, testing, improvement activities, and daily operations.
• Monitor equipment-related inventory, check material availability, identify discrepancies, and arrange for additional materials when required.
• Assist in maintaining standardized quality assurance procedures for equipment and manufacturing processes.
• Ensure assigned activities and equipment-related expenses are managed within the allocated budget.
• Maintain proper records and reports related to equipment maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Follow all workplace safety, equipment handling, and semiconductor manufacturing procedures.

【Requirements & Preferences】

(Must)

• NITEC/Diploma or relevant technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering
• Candidates with 3 years of relevant semiconductor equipment maintenance, manufacturing, or engineering experience are encouraged to apply.
• Basic to strong understanding of equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and engineering processes.
• Responsible, hands-on, and willing to learn new equipment and processes.
• Able to communicate in both English and Mandarin to liaise with English- and Mandarin-speaking counterparts
• Able to work 5 days a week (including Saturdays, Sundays, PH) with 2 days off a week

(Advantageous)

• A valid Singapore driving licence is an advantage.
