Job Summary

Lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance React Native mobile apps, React web apps, and backend services. Mentor engineers, drive best practices, and collaborate with product teams to build cloud-native solutions on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of complex features across React Native mobile applications, React web applications, and backend services to deliver high-quality products.
• Define scalable system architecture and make technical decisions that enhance maintainability, security, and performance.
• Lead technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews to ensure engineering excellence.
• Mentor and coach engineers to foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
• Drive improvements in DevOps, observability, platform reliability, and engineering productivity to optimize delivery.
• Partner with Product Managers to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and influence the technical roadmap.
• Resolve complex technical challenges and proactively identify opportunities to improve platform architecture and engineering practices.
• Champion secure-by-design principles and modern software engineering practices across the team.
• Apply strong expertise in React Native, React, TypeScript, and modern frontend development to build robust user interfaces.
• Develop backend services using Node.js, NestJS, or similar frameworks to support application functionality.
• Design and build cloud-native applications leveraging AWS cloud services to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Utilize knowledge of scalable system design, microservices architecture, and API design to create efficient systems.
• Employ familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and container technologies to streamline deployment processes.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in JavaScript to develop and maintain application codebases.
• Apply good understanding of software architecture, secure coding practices, and Agile software development methodologies to deliver quality software.
  
  

Preferred Competencies And Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
