Job Description & Requirements

Main responsibilities

 You will mainly be responsible for:

• Work in close collaboration with software development teams, security team and operation teams to automate, streamline and optimize the application deployment operations and processes.
• Maintain and improve existing workflow processes and framework.
• Identify, plan and drive the development of tools to reduce operational cost and improve customer experience.
• Animate discussions (including trainings) with IT operation teams to promote DevOps model within the department.

Qualifications and Profile

Technical

• Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments with experience in scripting (Python, Bash, Shell, or equivalent scripting languages) and automation.
• Basic knowledge of Windows scripting and Active Directory.
• Experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role, including hands-on implementation of deployment automation and orchestration solution
• Experience administering or supporting Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
• Comfortable in Agile working environment.
• Experience applying software design principles, architectural patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools; Jenkins, TFS, Git, Ansible, Selenium, Docker.
• Familiarity with one or more observability tools such as Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus, AppDynamics, Dynatrace or any equivalent tool.
• Familiarity with enterprise task scheduling tools such as Control-M or comparable workload automation platforms.
