Job Summary

You will lead the planning and scheduling of large-scale construction projects, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated baseline schedules and monitor project progress for timely, cost-effective delivery.

Responsibilities

Apply strong knowledge of construction industry practices and standards to plan and schedule project activities effectively

Collaborate with clients, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to develop fully integrated baseline schedules

Coordinate with project team members, contractors, and suppliers to gather inputs supporting program development

Prepare baseline schedules incorporating resource allocation and cost loadings to optimize project execution

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for complex projects in partnership with project teams

Track, update, and report project progress against planned schedules, identifying and resolving discrepancies

Forecast progress and prepare working and rolling programs, updating resource usage and histograms accordingly

Attend key project events to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards

Generate operational reports with recommendations for process improvements and modifications

Participate in budget preparation and administration, monitoring expenditures to control costs

Required competencies and certifications

Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification

Minimum 8 years of experience in planning and scheduling for large-scale construction projects

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Proven ability to track daily progress on site and collaborate closely with frontline staff

Demonstrated capability to independently produce detailed programs, narratives, and histograms
