Job Summary
This role involves managing A&A projects from contract award to completion, overseeing budgets, procurement, subcontractor negotiations, and payment processes for a BCA-registered Contractor.
Responsibilities
Tender Stage
Assist in drafting, checking, and maintaining tender documentation, procurement strategy records, and contract documentation.
Assist in preparation of project budget for management’s approval upon project award.
Support design cost control and value management processes across project life cycles.
Prepare cost estimation and pricing for tender submission.
Take-off quantities from drawings and specifications.
Source and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
Prepare BOQ and tender breakdown.
Project Stage
Prepare and submit progress claims to main contractors.
Evaluate and process subcontractor / supplier claims.
Manage and track variation orders (VO).
Monitor project budget and cost control.
Prepare final accounts upon project completion.
Maintain proper project documentation and contract records.
Handle progress claims, payments, variation orders, and project close-out activities to ensure smooth project completion.
Required competencies and certifications
Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying
Minimum 2 years of experience in Quantity Surveying or a relevant field
Effective communication and liaison skills with co-workers, subcontractors, and suppliers
