Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Data Engineer role based in Putrajaya. The Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain data pipelines and architectures to support analytics, reporting, and application needs. Daily responsibilities include implementing and optimizing ETL processes, modeling data for efficient storage and retrieval, and managing data warehousing solutions. The role involves collaborating with software engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data is accurate, reliable, and accessible. The Data Engineer will also monitor data performance, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to improving data governance and best practices.
Qualifications

• Strong data engineering skills, including experience with Data Engineering concepts and Data Warehousing solutions.
• Proficiency in Data Modeling and Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes for building and maintaining scalable data pipelines.
• Experience with Data Analytics techniques to support reporting, dashboards, and business intelligence.
• Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases, SQL, and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, or Scala).
• Familiarity with cloud or on-premise data platforms, performance tuning, and data security best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively on-site, communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and manage multiple tasks.
• Experience in software development environments and prior work on data-driven projects is an advantage.
