A little about the job
Moving arrangements involve plenty of details — dates, locations, items, access requirements and customer preferences.
We are looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to help manage these details and keep communication between customers and the operations team clear and organised.
You will be one of the main points of contact for customers from the initial enquiry through to the completion of the service.
Your main responsibilities
1. Enquiries
- Respond to enquiries about moving services through phone, email or messaging channels.
- Gather relevant information such as moving dates, locations, property type and service requirements.
- Provide general information about available services and the booking process.
- Record customer details accurately for follow-up.
2. Quotations & bookings
- Assist with preparing or coordinating service quotations based on customer requirements.
- Follow up with customers regarding quotations and pending decisions.
- Arrange confirmed bookings and update the relevant records.
- Confirm dates, locations and service details before scheduled moves.
3. Schedule coordination
- Coordinate moving schedules with the operations team.
- Communicate customer instructions and special requirements to the relevant staff.
- Assist with changes to moving dates, timing or service arrangements.
- Follow up on schedule changes and ensure affected parties are informed.
4. Customer updates
- Keep customers informed about confirmed arrangements and relevant updates.
- Respond to routine questions before and during the service period.
- Handle basic service concerns professionally.
- Escalate operational issues that require further attention.
5. Administration
- Maintain customer, quotation and booking records.
- Update spreadsheets or internal systems with current service information.
- Keep track of pending enquiries, confirmed jobs and follow-up actions.
- Assist with daily administrative work related to customer service and operations.
What we need
This position is suitable for someone who enjoys dealing with people and keeping practical arrangements organised.
You should have:
- Around 1–2 years of experience in customer service, administration, coordination, logistics or a similar role.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Comfortable communicating with customers by phone and written channels.
- Good organisational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work with schedules, addresses and service details accurately.
- Comfortable using basic office software, email and spreadsheets.
- Able to remain professional when dealing with changes or customer concerns.
- Willingness to learn the company's services and operating procedures.
A Diploma or equivalent qualification in Business, Customer Service, Logistics or a related field is preferred.
Helpful experience
Experience in any of these areas would be useful:
- Moving or relocation services
- Logistics or delivery coordination
- Home services
- Scheduling or booking management
- Customer quotation support
- Operations coordination
However, relevant customer service or administrative experience from another service industry will also be considered.
The working environment
The role involves regular communication and coordination, so priorities can change during the day.
A customer may need to adjust a moving date, additional information may be required for a quotation, or the operations team may need an update before a scheduled job.
Being able to stay calm, keep records accurate and follow through on each request is important.
Candidates with relevant customer service, coordination, logistics or administrative experience may submit their resume for consideration.
Pay: $2,700.00 - $3,200.00 per month
