Job Summary:

Responsible for supporting new product introduction (NPI) activities with a focus on cost estimation and analysis. Prepares accurate quotations, evaluates manufacturing feasibility, and ensures smooth project transition from prototype to mass production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimations for new RFQs, covering material, machining, tooling, and labor.
• Review drawings and BOMs to identify cost drivers and manufacturing feasibility.
• Work closely with sourcing, production, and program teams for cost validation.
• Support NPI project execution and ensure timely delivery of samples and documentation.
• Monitor cost variance and recommend cost improvement actions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in costing, NPI, or process engineering (preferably in precision manufacturing).
• Able to read technical drawings and understand manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
