Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and monitor architectural works at the construction site.
Review and interpret architectural drawings, specifications and details.
Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and site teams to resolve technical and site issues.
Ensure architectural works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings and project requirements.
Conduct regular site inspections and monitor the quality and progress of works.
Take site measurements and verify completed works against drawings.
Coordinate and follow up on shop drawings, material submissions and samples.
Monitor material delivery and ensure materials are in accordance with approved specifications.
Identify site discrepancies and coordinate the necessary rectification works.
Assist in preparing progress claims, measurements and supporting documentation.
Maintain proper records of site activities, inspections, measurements and approvals.
Coordinate with other trades to avoid clashes and ensure smooth work progress.
Attend site meetings and provide updates on architectural work progress.
Follow up on outstanding architectural works and ensure timely completion.
Ensure all works comply with relevant safety, quality and project requirements.
Perform any other duties related to the project as assigned by the Project Manager.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Building, Construction or a related field.
Relevant experience in architectural coordination or construction site work is preferred.
Able to read and understand architectural drawings and construction details.
Good knowledge of architectural finishes and construction methods.
Good coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently as well as coordinate effectively with site teams and subcontractors.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD and other relevant drawing software will be an advantage.
Willing to work on construction sites and coordinate with different project stakeholders.
Candidates with relevant Singapore construction experience will be preferred.
