Job Summary

You will service, repair and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment throughout the hotel to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities

Service, repair and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment including fan coil units, air handling units, fire equipment, plumbing, laundry, guestroom technical systems and other hotel technical equipment

Execute planned maintenance programs to ensure timely servicing of equipment

Record and monitor temperatures and pressures of air conditioning chillers, freezers and cold rooms daily including updating temperature recording charts

Inspect mechanical and electrical systems and control circuits to ensure proper functioning

Support other technicians by assisting with workload management

Perform assigned fire fighter duties during emergencies to ensure safety

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in workshop areas, plant rooms and machinery rooms

Fulfill shift duties including rotating shifts, split shifts and additional tasks as required

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Ability to work rotating shifts and on weekends/public holidays

Analytical and problem-solving skills applied to diagnosing and resolving equipment issues
