Role Description The Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kuala Lumpur, responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects in the energy and industrial sectors. Day-to-day activities include assisting in project design and engineering calculations, preparing technical documentation and reports, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment with project specifications and standards. The role involves monitoring project progress, identifying technical issues, and contributing to solutions that maintain safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness. The Project Engineer will also participate in client meetings, support procurement and contractor coordination, and ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills relevant to industrial and energy-related projects.
• Candidates should possess Project Management and Project Planning skills to coordinate timelines, resources, and deliverables.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaboration with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
• Relevant degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical or related discipline) and experience in Solar Project cycle.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and standards, proficiency with engineering and project management software, and strong problem-solving skills are advantageous.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, with the ability to work on-site and adapt to dynamic project environments.
