Responsibility:

1. Perform daily quality inspection on parts received, ensuring specification and process requirements are met.

2. Area of coverage may include vendor incoming inspection, in-process inspection, outgoing inspection and machine buy-off.

3. Monitor and maintain daily CMM room temperature and humidity records.

4. Arrange external and internal calibration activities, verify calibration certificates, and update calibration stickers.

5. Verify issues reported by inspectors and communicate with production for improvement.

6. Communicate with internal customers to investigate and resolve issues.

7. Perform source inspection at vendor sites.

8. Assist QA Engineer in quality data collection for weekly KPI reporting.

9. Assist QA Engineer with daily job arrangements and ensure all assignments are completed within the required time frame.

10. Provide training to inspectors to improve inspection skills.

11. Comply with all ISO requirements (including all standards approved by Management) and adhere to general safety practices, standard operating procedures, work instructions, policies, and guidelines provided by the company.

12. Other duties and assignments as instructed by the supervisor from time to time.

Requirement:

1. Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent years of related experience.

2. 2 to 5 years and above of working experience in hands-on quality inspection of metal works fabrication, high-precision CNC machining, tool and die fabrication, or assembly processes.

3. Good understanding of metal work, CNC machining drawings, and tolerances.

4. Able to perform dimensional inspections and interpret engineering requirements.

5. Proficient in basic metrology equipment: caliper, micrometer, pin gauge, block gauge, profile projector, and CMM (basic operation).

6. Experienced in inspection report preparation and documentation.

7. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

8. Communicates effectively with process owners and subcontractors.

9. Experienced in preparing daily and weekly inspection/quality reports.

Pay: RM2,100.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
