About the role

FA Technician role reporting to QA Engineer, responsible for conducting First Article inspections, preparing process management plans and drawings, and supporting quality assurance activities in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct First Article inspection for new and existing product

• Prepare process management plan, process drawing / instruction

• Assist in preparing statistical quality reports such as CpCPK, PPK, GR&R, SPC

• Engage in continuous improvement of quality / standard and keep accurate records

• Comply with document control tasks

• Assist in dealing with supplier on quality related issues (new program)

• Assist in preparing PPAP package

• Assist in documentation and filing for QA/QC department

About you

• Minimum Professional Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

• Preferably minimum 3 years' experience specializing in Metal Stamping Industry or equivalent

• Computer literate with basic knowledge of QC tools, GD&T, ISO9001, TS16949

• Able to use measuring equipment such as PP, Vernier caliper, CMM (with basic Hexagon program), Micrometer, Height Gauge, Angle Protector, Torque Gauge and Pin Gauge

• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Valid driving license with own transport and willing to travel
