JOB TYPE:

12 Months Renewable contract

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, coordinate and execute full life-cycle commissioning of mission-critical facilities.
• Participate in MEP design reviews and witness static and dynamic testing of mechanical, electrical and control systems.
• Develop commissioning test scripts, Functional Performance Tests (FPT), Integrated System Test (IST) procedures and MEP operating procedures.
• Review drawings, specifications, technical submissions and respond to RFIs.
• Conduct site observations, inspections, field surveys and prepare commissioning/field reports.
• Prepare punch lists and coordinate corrective actions with contractors and project teams.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting and verification of MEP systems.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, vendors and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Ensure commissioning activities comply with project specifications, safety requirements, local regulations and industry standards.
• Support systems testing under normal, maintenance and failure-mode conditions.
• Prepare meeting minutes, technical documentation and project status reports.
• Lead and coordinate field engineers and commissioning activities as required

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in commissioning, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical and/or electrical systems.
• Candidates with strong hands-on experience in either Mechanical OR Electrical commissioning are encouraged to apply
• Data Centre / Mission-Critical Facilities experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including:

Mechanical:

• HVAC and chilled water systems
• Chillers and cooling towers
• AHUs / FCUs
• Process water and water treatment systems
• Humidification
• Fuel transfer systems
• Smoke extraction / pressurisation systems

Electrical:

• HV / MV / LV power systems
• Transformers and generators
• Switchgear and distribution systems
• UPS / STS / PDU systems
• Electrical protection systems
• Grounding and instrumentation

Controls & Monitoring:

• BMS / EPMS / SCADA / PLC
• BACnet / Modbus / Ethernet
• Control and instrumentation systems
• Temperature and humidity monitoring / data logging
• Experience developing MEP test procedures and commissioning documentation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and team coordination skills.
• Good understanding of H&S, quality systems, commissioning standards and local regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
