Technical Skills

Proficiency in video editing software DaVinci Resolve

Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects or motion graphics

Understanding of color correction and color grading

Audio editing and sound mixing skills

Familiarity with video codecs, export settings, and file management

Experience with multi-camera editing

Basic understanding of camera formats (Sony, Canon, Blackmagic etc,)

Creative Skills

Strong storytelling and pacing

Good sense of rhythm and music selection

Attention to detail and visual consistency

Ability to follow brand guidelines while adding creative input

Experience

Portfolio or showreel demonstrating editing skills

Experience editing commercial, corporate, event, or social media content

Knowledge of different editing styles depending on the target audience

Typical Responsibilities

Assemble raw footage into engaging videos

Sync audio and video

Trim and arrange clips for storytelling

Add music, sound effects, and transitions

Perform color correction and grading

Create graphics, titles, and lower thirds

Export videos in multiple formats for different platforms

Organize project files and archive completed work

Interpret briefs from creative team well

Ensure final deliverables meet quality and brand standards

Preferred Qualifications

Strong portfolio that demonstrates creativity and technical proficiency

Knowledge of social media platform specifications and best practices

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,500.00 per month
